2018 Innovation Teaching Award

Winner of the George Krull/Grant Thornton 2018 Teaching Innovation Award, for “Show & Tell: Infographics to Keep and Sustain Engagement” Veronica Paz and Lynnan Mocek Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  This award is given by the AICPA for Effective Learning Strategies for upper-level accounting courses.

Blog Dr. Veronica Paz Using LittleBits Robot Kits to Sponsor Community Building

I was part of a grant to obtain 12 “‘Rule Your Room’ LittleBit Kits” to foster community and team building. 

 

Who would have thought an English class could share a pedagogical activity with a class in Accounting? Authors Dr. Veronica Paz and Dr. Matthew Vetter reflect on their experiences using the LittleBits invention kits to help focus student engagement on team dynamics and community building.
